An internship placement coordinator will conduct an internship placement meeting with you to discuss your interests and qualifications. This meeting will occur after admission to the program.
After the placement meeting, you will receive an internship placement within one of the three areas of interest specified on your application based on your qualifications and interests, as well as the realities of the location you are interning in and the internship providers’ needs and work cycles. These placements can be made at any time between acceptance and the start of the program.
If you decide to reject an offer, you must outline why it is not a good fit based on the three areas of interest that were agreed upon. You will not be able to return to an offer once it has been rejected and will receive no more than three offers.
You are expected to actively participate in the placement process and respond to emails promptly. Failure to do so may result in your inability to participate in an internship.
Internship assignments cannot be changed after the first week of interning at the placement site unless requested by the internship provider.
