Admitted students will be able to access detailed program information and their mandatory pre-departure checklist via their Berkeley Study Abroad application portal. The checklist will contain important documents that need to be signed, scanned, and submitted online, including a Medical Information Form, Proof of Enrollment in Health Insurance, and other supplemental forms.
These forms must be signed and returned to program staff by the deadline indicated on your checklist.
If you choose not to participate in the Global Internships program, you must submit a Program Enrollment Change Form via your online applicant status portal by March 15, 2025.
If you choose not to participate in the Summer Abroad program, you must submit a Program Enrollment Change Form via your online applicant status portal April 4, 2025.
Please note that if you are accepted and then choose to withdraw, the $300 deposit will remain charged to your account. If you cancel after March 15 (for Global Internships) or April 4 (for Summer Abroad) then you will also owe the remaining program fee. Read more about the refund policies in this article.
Incomplete, missing confirmation forms, or an email message do not qualify as an official cancellation from the Summer Abroad or the Global Internships program.
